Maybe you have heard of The JESUS Film Project and maybe you haven’t. There is a good possibility though that you may have seen or received a copy of the movie that they distribute. That movie is "JESUS". It is a "two hour docudrama about the life of Christ based on the Gospel of Luke"
The movie was first released in 1979 and since then has been translated into 925 different languages and shown in over 228 countries. With over 42,564,196 videos, DVDs. and VCDs in circulation this is easily on of the most viewed movies based on the life of Jesus Christ.
The JESUS Film Project has a goal in mind and that goal is to "reach every nation, tribe, people and tongue, helping them see and hear the story of Jesus in a language they can understand. So whether a person speaks Swahili, French, or a language whose name is extremely difficult for most to pronounce, he or she will encounter the life and message of Jesus in a language "of the heart." We have obtained permission from The JESUS Film Project to show the "JESUS" film from our web site. The move was filmed in the Holy Land and covers the life of Jesus from birth to resurrection with an 8 minute introduction that covers events in the Bible that point to the birth of Jesus Christ. The movie is a little over 2 hours long and requires Real Player* in order to watch. You can also watch "The Story of Jesus for Children", a 62 minute movie that makes the story of Jesus easy to understand for children.
